Capy Soak: Capybara Merge · Last updated 11 October 2026

Capy Soak: Capybara Merge is a free, single-player capybara drop and merge puzzle game for Android, made by Alper Akar, an independent developer based in Türkiye. This policy explains what data the game, its advertising partner Google AdMob and Google Play Games Services process.

In short

The game has no accounts of its own, and we do not collect your name, email address or anything else that directly identifies you. To learn how the game is played and to fix crashes, it uses Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics (see below). It shows a small banner ad from Google AdMob at the bottom of the screen, and full-screen AdMob ads only when you choose to watch one for an in-game reward, such as one more Shake, Lift or Swap, or a second chance when the spring overflows. The data these Google services receive is encrypted in transit. If you are signed in to Google Play Games on your device, the game also uses it for achievements, leaderboards and a copy of your progress. There are no in-app purchases. The game itself can be played offline; ads and Play Games need an internet connection.

Fair puzzles

Which capybara comes next is decided on your device by a seeded random sequence; the Daily Bucket uses the date as its seed, so every player gets the same order. The difficulty never secretly adapts to you and there are no loot boxes. No data about your play is sent anywhere for this.

Ads (Google AdMob)

When the game loads or shows an ad, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process your device's advertising ID, your IP address (which can be used to estimate your approximate location), information about your device and the app (such as model, operating system, language and app version), your interactions with ads (such as views and taps), and crash and performance diagnostics. Google uses this data to deliver, measure and, where you allow it, personalise ads, and to prevent fraud and abuse.

Banner ads

The game shows a small banner ad at the bottom of the screen, in its own space. Unlike the optional ads you watch for a reward, banners appear without you choosing to watch them, but they do not cover the game controls and you never need to tap them. Banners are loaded through Google AdMob in the same way and with the same data as described above, and your choices under Settings → Ad choices and in your Android settings apply to them as well. Without an internet connection no banners are loaded, and the game still works. Google AdMob is the game's only advertising partner.

Google Play Games

If you are signed in to Google Play Games on your device, the game signs you in automatically; otherwise you can connect in the game's settings. It then uses Google Play Games Services to unlock achievements, post your scores (your best score, your best score this week and your Daily Bucket score) to leaderboards and keep a copy of your progress in your Play Games account (Saved Games), so you can continue on a new device. When you are signed in, Google shares your Play Games player ID, gamer name and avatar with the game, and stores your achievements, leaderboard scores and saved game in your Google account. Depending on your Play Games profile settings, other players may see your gamer name, avatar and scores. Saved Games contain only your game progress; we cannot see them. We do not receive your email address or your contacts. This data is handled by Google under its privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

Play Games is optional: if you are not signed in, the whole game works without it. To delete your Play Games data, open the Google Play Games app, go to your profile → Settings, and delete this game's data or your whole Play Games profile; you can also manage it in your Google account at myaccount.google.com. Uninstalling the game alone does not delete data stored in Play Games.

Usage statistics and crash reports (Google Firebase)

The game uses Google Firebase Analytics to count how it is played: for example when it is opened, when a soak starts and ends, your score, when you finish the Daily Bucket or a daily task, when you get a new album card and how much help you used, your level and daily streak, and whether you chose to watch an ad and how it ended. With these events Firebase processes a random app instance ID, your device model, operating system and language, the app version and your IP address (used to estimate your country and region). If the game crashes, Firebase Crashlytics sends a crash report with the same kind of device information and a random installation ID. We do not link these IDs to your name, email or advertising ID, and we use the data only to improve the game. Usage statistics are kept for up to 14 months and crash reports for 90 days.

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, usage statistics are stored only after you agree in the game's consent form, and you can change your choice in the game's settings. Clearing the game's storage starts a new random ID. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

Your choices

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the game asks for your consent before ads are personalised, using Google's consent tool, and you can change your choice at any time under Settings → Ad choices. Wherever you are, you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ads personalisation, in your Android settings. Watching full-screen ads is always optional: you can play the whole game without watching any.

Data stored on your device

Your best score, hot spring level and total score, album cards, helpers, daily tasks, daily streak, Daily Bucket result and your settings (such as language, sound and vibration) are saved inside the app on your own device. We cannot see it. If you are signed in to Google Play Games, a copy of your progress is also kept in your Play Games account so you can continue on a new device; when the two copies differ, the one with more progress is used and the other stays on your device for 7 days (Settings → Previous save). Uninstalling the game or clearing its data deletes the copy on your device.

If Android backup is turned on for your Google account, Android may include this game data in your device backup. That backup is handled by Google under your account settings; we have no access to it.

Deleting your data

Step-by-step instructions for deleting your progress, your advertising ID and the statistics linked to a random ID, and how long each is kept, are on the Delete your data page.

Permissions

  • Internet and network state, used to load ads, to connect to Google Play Games and to send usage statistics and crash reports.
  • Advertising ID and Android's ad services (such as ad measurement), used by the Google Mobile Ads SDK as described above.
  • Wake lock and foreground service, used by Android's scheduling library (WorkManager), which schedules the reminders and which the ads SDK relies on.
  • Notifications (Android 13 and newer), asked once after your first soak and used only for reminders about the Daily Bucket, your daily streak or a soak waiting for you: at most one a day, at 7 pm. You can turn reminders off in the game's settings or in Android settings.

Purchases

The game is free. There are no purchases inside the game and no coins: progress, album cards and helpers come from playing, and the optional rewards come from short videos you choose to watch.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
