Fireside Words is a classic crossword-style word game set by a warm fireside on a winter evening: a dark walnut board, ivory letter tiles, a mug of cocoa and a knitted blanket. Build words on a 15 x 15 board with your seven tiles, use the letter and word bonus squares, and score 40 extra points when you use all seven tiles in one move.
Your opponents are four fireside animals, all clearly AI: Mia the kitten, Rufus the fox, Bruno the bear and Professor Hoot the owl, from Easy to Master. They draw from the same sealed bag, never see your letters and never know which tiles come next. The board zooms in as you play, the tiles can be made even bigger, and a word that is not in the dictionary costs nothing: just try another.
Every game's bag has a SHA-256 seal shown at the start and a seed revealed at the end, so you can check it. The daily puzzle gives everyone the same board and seven letters each day, with daily missions, a streak to keep, badges and board themes. Words are in English or Turkish; menus in ten languages. No forced ads, no purchases.

Your level, XP, statistics, badges, daily missions, daily streak, daily puzzle results, unlocked board themes, the games in progress against each opponent, the time left on your score preview and tile tracker, and your settings (such as word language, sound, reminders and large letters) are saved inside the app on your own device. We cannot see it. Uninstalling the game or clearing its data deletes it.
